Like every month, Microsoft will soon be removing more games from the Game Pass library. In a blog post, Microsoft confirmed that more than a dozen games in the catalog will be leaving on September 30.
This includes games across Xbox, PC, and streaming, as well as games from the EA Play catalog available through Game Pass Ultimate. Some of the games leaving on September 30 include Dirt 4, Dirt Rally, Slime Rancher, Subnautica: Below Zero, Lemnis Gate, and Astria Ascending, among others. The full list is below.
Microsoft also confirmed that while it said earlier that Aragami 2 would be leaving the catalog soon, this is no longer the case – it will remain available on console, cloud and PC.
As a reminder, Game Pass members can save 20% on any game, so that’s a silver lining at least if players want to keep the party going.
Microsoft removed 10 games from the Game Pass library on September 15th, so the additional 12 games released on September 30th will bring the total number of games removed from Game Pass at the end of September to 22. Microsoft has added 8 games to Game Pass, so by September, there will be 10 more games by the end of the month, for a total of 17 games. Add in the removals, and assuming no further additions or removals this month, Game Pass’s overall library will be in September.
As for the games coming to Game Pass in the final weeks of September, these include Deathloop (September 20), Hardspace: Shipbreaker (September 20), Slime Rancher 2 (September 22), Grounded (September 27), and Valheim (September 29). You can see the full list of additions here.
