What is an undertide?
In case you missed it, Darktide is a hack and slash and first-person shooter RPG. Tertium is located on the planet Atoma Prime, a place ruled by the Empire of Man. Follow the dark agents of Nurgle, the god of plague and rotting Chaos, as they begin their descent to the Hive City. Playing as the Inquisition, it’s your job to stop the growing invasion of Chaos. While not the ideal recruiter for the role, someone has to do it.
Players will have customization options such as choosing your initial sentence will also determine some cosmetic items your character will be adorned with. Players can choose from Ogryns, Zealots, Psykers and Veterans classes. Darktide will feature a simple loading system consisting of a primary weapon, a secondary weapon, and three gadgets. Use a hybrid combat system that combines melee and ranged weapons, allowing you to choose how to kill Nurgle and their Hellspawn. Want to learn more about Dark Tide? Check out our impressions and everything we know so far.

Darktide will use a hybrid combat system that lets you fight Chaos with both melee and ranged weapons.
welcome to the plague
This includes Plague Zombies, humans who have fallen prey to the Nurgle Plague and now take the form of resurrected enemies. Then came the Chaos followers, those who decided to join Nurgle. Nor did they get any better because they too had sickness and other bloody afflictions. But they still have their minds and abilities, which makes them harder to kill.
Zealots in the Kuroshio, on the other hand, are ex-construction workers who use axes and hammers as their weapons of choice. Worst of all are Nurgle’s plague army, the infantry are demons made up of tortured souls. She is wielding sick knives and guns spewing bile, cute. Finally in the form of a pile of mutated flesh and tentacles, Nurgle’s Chaos Egg has rotted to a new level, so corrupted. I thought it would be fun to fight horrific enemies, using hammers, guns, etc. to knock them down in online co-op mode.

In Warhammer 40k: Dark Tide, the spread of decay and corruption has mutated humans into zombie-like creatures. Let’s shoot some space zombies!
Warhammer 40K: Dark Tide The PC version will be released via Steam on November 30, 2022. The closed beta will run from October 14th to 16th, so be sure to sign up for a chance to snag a spot.
